But let me share a little bit more about who I really am.
My vision statement
I believe that it is every child’s basic human right to be raised in a loving, caring home. Where they are cherished, seen and delighted in. One where all emotions are safe and supported.
I believe that it is the right for every parent/carer to feel seen, valued and supported by the world that they live in.
My mission statement
It is my mission to offer support and guidance to parents/carers through their journey to becoming the optimal parents/carers I know they can be.
How I got here
Throughout my life, I have had a deep love and curiosity for understanding children and their perspectives. I’ve always sought to learn how they perceive the world, how they learn, and what they need to truly thrive.
My passion for understanding childhood development led me to become a Montessori teacher, eager to uncover the secrets of how children grow and learn. While my experience as a Montessori teacher provided valuable insights, I felt there was still more to discover. Knowledge to me is exciting, and despite coming from a socio-economically deprived background, I have always had a restless hunger to learn.
So, I made the decision to pursue a degree in Early Childhood Studies, all while raising my four young children. Through dedication and hard work, (and very long nights) I achieved a First-Class Honours degree, which equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of the field.
With my academic accomplishments, I embarked on a fulfilling career as an Early Years Educator, working with high-need families from diverse backgrounds. I embraced the challenges and opportunities this role offered, not only working with neurodiverse children but also providing support to their families. Recognizing the importance of holistic care, I later transitioned to working as a Family Support Practitioner. Whilst in this role I became a Video Interactive Guidance (VIG) Practitioner as well as a Circle of Security Parenting Practitioner. These invaluable early intervention tools further fortified my ability to support parents, enabling them to develop strong, lasting attachments and nurturing parent-child relationships.
Throughout my career, I have worked with hundreds of parents, supporting them in understanding what their children need to grow and thrive, both physically and emotionally.
What I want to give to others now as a parenting coach
Throughout my life’s work, I have dedicated myself to children and families. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact in their lives, offering the tools and support needed to build strong, loving relationships.
My desire to continue supporting parents in their relationships with their children is as strong as ever. This led me to discover my true calling as a Transformational Parenting Coach.
Drawing from my personal journey, which has had its fair share of suffering and struggles, I bring a profound appreciation and understanding of life that fills me with empathy and wisdom.
My main area of passion and expertise lies in supporting families experiencing generational cultural disconnect between parents and children. I have personal insight into the challenges and conflict that can arise in such situations. I have successfully helped families who felt deeply disconnected from their children to the point where they barely recognised them and felt like they had nothing in common.
During these tough times, they felt like they were failing as parents and the daily conflicts with their children were overwhelming.
I hope this first-hand perspective gives you a better understanding of my background and expertise. I am dedicated to guiding and empowering parents, helping them build strong, loving relationships.
