You’ll discover:

  • The 10 Core Pillars of Transformational Parenting.
  • Power-Over parenting: Definitions, outcomes, and strategies.
  • Power-Under parenting: Definitions, outcomes, and strategies.

Week 5: Making Sense of Nervous System Science

You’ll learn the ins and outs of the nervous system so you can support children’s budding nervous systems. Understanding the physiology of parenting is key to our internal world and that of our children, promoting calm and safety. You’ll discover:

Week 7: Making Sense of Emotional Intelligence

The heart of Empowered Parenting is understanding how our physiology, brain, and emotions work together to create our inner world. Emotional intelligence fosters inner and outer freedom for parents and children to live fulfilling lives together. You’ll discover:

  • The definition of emotional intelligence and how to increase your capacity to experience (safely) the full range of your emotions.
  • Identifying obstacles to embodied emotional intelligence.
  • Differentiating between feelings, false feelings, needs, and beliefs.
  • Access “Permission to FEEL” and model this skill for children’s emotional growth and maturity.
Week 8: Empowered Conversations

Now that you have accessed the foundations of the head, heart, and hands of Transformational Parenting, you’ll move to the voice.

Navigating this new paradigm of connection, relational safety, inspiration and presence, requires a new style of communication.

Using our communication framework, inspired by the work of Dr. Marshall Rosenberg and Non-Violent Communication (NVC), you’ll access your greatest tool as a Peaceful Parent: your voice.

You will discover:

  • Your belief system and residual generational patterns around voice, expression, feelings and needs.
  • The ten-step framework of empowered conversation.
  • Common obstacles to empowered communication, and how to resolve them.
  • The distinction between requests and demands.
  • Modeling empowered communication to children as a pathway to increased maturity, advocacy and confidence.
Week 9: The PEACE Process

We believe all conflicts within a parent-child dynamic, or between siblings can be resolved peacefully. The Jai PEACE process is the key to replacing punishments, consequences, yelling, and threats. You’ll learn practical steps to thrive through conflict, disconnection, and parental overwhelm, even in challenging moments.

You’ll discover:

  • The five-step PEACE Process.
  • Shifting from Power-Over or -Under dynamics to Power-With.
  • Establishing effective boundaries, rules, and limits.
  • Prioritizing engagement over expectations.
  • Your role in teaching children to honor agreements, follow through, and develop personal responsibility.
Week 10: Anger and Healthy Aggression

In your journey to Transformational Parenting, we’ll address the powerful emotion of anger. Emotional objectivity doesn’t require disconnecting from any emotion, including rage, aggression, and frustration.

You’ll learn to experience anger with healthy tools for expression and communication.

You’ll discover:

  • Generational patterns, judgments, and beliefs related to anger and aggression.
  • Safely processing anger in your body without harming yourself or others.
  • Being present with children’s aggression and demonstrating healthy anger expression.
  • Transforming your anger into an ally in parenting by befriending it.
Week 11: Playful Parenting and Storytelling

Learn how to play (even when you don’t feel like it!). Play is the Peaceful Parent’s secret sauce. You will explore your playful inner self, so you can meet your children in theirs, no matter their age (or yours!).

You will discover:

  • How to transform conflict through play, creativity and solutions-oriented relating.
  • Role-reversal and healing role play.
  • Healing stories and games for unwanted behaviour, aggression, anger, and anxiety.
  • Your play-language, and how to introduce them to your child.
  • The path to more joy, connection and FUN as a parent.
Week 12: Your Personal Transformation

In our twelfth week of your Empowered Parenting journey, we will celebrate and reflect together. We will consider the significant changes you’ve experienced in completing the 12 week Jai program and the impact on your relationship with your children.

You’ll explore:

  • The clarity and awareness gained in your mindset.
  • Your ability to hold space for your child and your depth of listening.
  • Practicing self-compassion and handling moments of “regression” or “failure”
  • The evolution of your communication style.
  • Any shifts in your children’s behavior, including increased peace, joy, and play.
  • Changes in your relationship with yourself. Can you look yourself in the eye and breathe deeply with appreciation?

For all options I provide a safe and non-judgmental space for parents to share their real-time struggles in parenting. These weekly calls are often seen as a form of “self-care” because they allow you to share your concerns and feelings in a safe space where you are both heard and seen.
You’ll learn to see family situations from a different perspective and identify the barriers that have been hindering the family life you truly desire.

Throughout the process, you’ll develop a better understanding of how to acknowledge and process your emotions. This self-awareness will make you more conscious and in tune with your mind and body, ultimately helping you become a more emotionally attuned and
responsive parent.
